Cliffs of Moher
The stone eye has been placed in O´Briens tower at the top of the Cliffs of Moher, County Clare, Ireland. O´Brians tower was built in 1835. It has a panoramic view of the cliffs, the atlantic ocean, The Aran Island, the Connemara Mountains and Galway.
The stone eye has been carefully and strategially inserted into into the outer wall of the tower to stabilize the tower structure and thereby prevent it from falling over the edge of the cliff in the future,
